This design came about as I wanted to design a small red sampler. The little red schoolhouse reminds me of a nineteenth century schoolhouse. I can hear the bell ringing and the children running in to begin their day of learning in this sweet schoolhouse. How much fun it would be to be in this classroom!
This sampler pinkeep is stitched one strand over two linen threads on 36 count Peanut Brittle by Leo & Roxy Floss Co. Stitch Count is 111 x 119. Trimmed in Brick chenille by Lady Dot Creates.
