I have been working on an overdyed floss conversion for this design and have come up with I feel is a good match. This conversion is based on overdyed floss in my stash compared to DMC.

So here it is:

I think a good substitute for this linen would be Hemingway by Needle and Flax or Legacy by Picture this Plus.

The Houses on Peppermint Lane, Flowerpots and Forget-me-nots, a peek of The Houses on Pumpkin Lane

I have added two full kits to my website! The Kits include a half yard of 36 count Prairie Grass linen by Seraphim, the complete 25 skien kit of Weeks Dye Works floss needed to stitch the entire piece and all nine charts. There are only two of these so if you would like one, grab one.

Can you believe we are already three blocks into our Flowerpots and Forget-me-nots BOM? Here are the first three blocks.

This BOM is full and my waiting list is currently full. I appreciate how much everyone is loving stitching and I am so blessed and grateful for the love of my first BOM.

The Houses on Peppermint Lane

I am so excited to release the first three patterns, Peppermint House, Gingerbread House and Sugar Cookie House, in my new series The Houses on Peppermint Lane. This will be a nine part series and each design can be stitched on its own or into a free pdf downloadable border chart that will be available on my website soon. The series came to me as I designed Peppermint House. Such a sweet house that it needed a whole lane. Then came Gingerbread House and Sugar Cookie House. The next three houses will be released early next year and the last three after that.

New Series

I am so excited to share my new series! There will be nine designs that can be stitched separate or into one piece! The first three in this series, Peppermint House, Gingerbread House and Sugar Cookie House will be released to shops on or before November 10. Here are some peeks of Peppermint House and Gingerbread House. I am just in the process of designing and Stitching Sugar Cookie House. So excited for these designs.

Candy Crow

I had so much fun choosing floss and stitching my New Halloween inspired cross stitch chart. A cute quilting crow stealing the candy corn, big pumpkins, a star flower with “Boo” peaking through the stems and a candy corn border. Currently available to Needlework Shops.

Needlework Expo August 28-30

Needlework Expo was an incredible experience for me. I exhibited at this wholesale trade show as a new designer and met some incredible shop owners and other exhibitors. I released four new designs including the last two in my Pansy Patch Manor Series as well as The Acorn Catcher and Trimming the Tree. These are currently available only at Local Needlework Shops and will be added to my website later this year. I hope you love my patterns and that they will bring you many hours of stitching joy.

Welcome To Pansy Patch Quilts and Stitchery

We are so excited to finally launch our new website! I have wanted a quilt shop for so long I cannot even remember. Currently, we are carrying Editya Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts fabrics and right now have about 55 bolts, including the Seamstress, Signature Style and Secret Stash. We have chosen 31 of our favourite Seamstress Bolts and have made a fat quarter bundle. We have also curated fabric bundles by colour of Laundry Basket Quilts that are listed in our shop. Hope you love them as much as we do. Emily is currently enrolled in a graphic design program and hopes to become a surface pattern designer and design fabric lines. I am over the moon excited that my first quilt design, Pumpkin Dash, has been chosen to be featured in the fall 2022 issue of Primitive Quilts and Projects. Fall fabrics, our hand dyed wool and valdani floss. Watch for that issue.

I am also in the process of designing a block of the month using Laundry Basket fabrics, our hand dyed wool and Valdani floss. Here are some sneak peeks. I hope to release the block of the month in February or March of 2022 and sign ups will begin later this year. If you are interested in signing up, send us an email at pansypatchqs@gmail.com. Another very exciting announcement! I have started designing cross stitch charts, and I am participating in Needlework Expo which is an online trade show. Your favourite LNS can participate and order the cross stitch charts you love. I will have four new designs and two that were released in May available for shops to order. I have a series of four in the Pansy Patch Manor Series. Here are some sneak peaks of the new charts, and the two already released.
